The Holidays... not so much fun this year

I am a little behind on my blogging but a small part of that has to do with the dreaded swine flu... I have to be honest it was a rough Christmas and New Years but there is always next year. We didnt take many picture during Christmas but here is my favorite one from the Holidays!!

To catch up on some dates I finally ordered and picked up Chads wedding band(12/8) and we ordered all of the bridesmaid dresses(12/9)!! I finally picked out some save the date cards (12/29) I wasnt feeling to well on this day so hopefully there will be no regrets. Chad and I spent two afternoons at bed bath and beyond registering (1/1 & 1/3) it was actually alot of fun and I never even got overwhelmed with all of the decisions that had to be made!! Today mom and I went to picked out my fine china I kinda left chad out on this part because I was clueless and needed a little bit of guidance, thats what moms are for!! Pre-marriage counseling starts soon, this should be interesting!!

The holidays.... 5 months to go!!!

Im so excited the holidays are here this means only 5 months to go!!!

So Chad and I figured we didnt have enough going on in our lives right now so we decided to adopt a 1 1/2 year old black lab named jack!! I was a little nervous at first because he is very large and weighs 102 pounds but he is sooo sweet!!! He fits in just right with bella and baylee!!

Even dad agrees hes a good dog... he let him in the house!!!

So as far as wedding planning goes Chad and I went and picked out our wedding bands today. That was very exciting, Chad didnt even get nervous trying his on :)

Our Engagement Shoot!!

At exactly 200 days until the wedding our engagement pictures finally happened!! It was totally worth the wait!!! I have to be honest Im not made for the camera and photo shoots are not my thing. The weather was awesome and the scenery was amazing. Check them out!!

getting caught up... finding a band!!

So I havent blogged in an almost a month but to get caught up we have done so much over the past few weeks. We ordered my cake from Barbs cakes on september 21, we have an idea of what we want for chads cake. We had our planning session with gabrella manor on the 23rd and went over every single detail of the wedding. I really feel like everything is falling so quickly and easily into place. The only thing that keeps holding us up is all this rain, the engagement pictures have been postponed twice :( oh well we have plenty of time to get those done!! Somewhere in all of this me and malori went to Bellas bridesmaid and tried on several of the dresses. I fell in love with three dresses but we have settled on one, I cant wait to see everyone in them!!! They are adorable!! We ordered Annas junior bridesmaid dress on sunday!!! Malori helped me out and found the exact same color dress that will match the bridesmaids dresses and she looks adorable. Mom ordered her mother of the bride dress last week. Oh and this afternoon I picked up the very large box of wedding invitations!! So the only major thing left is finding a band.... we are heading out tonight to listen to a jazz band. any suggestions?? This has been the hardest decision for us well maybe more for me!!

A full week of wedding planning....

We have a super busy week ahead....

Tomorrow Chad and I are having our engagement pictures (if the weather doesnt rain us out) done by Kellen Coldiron. We are really excited but Im nervous at the same time, Im not sure what to expect. Monday and tuesday morning mom and I are doing some cake tasting and then heading to look at wedding invitations. Tuesday afternoon malori and I are headed to Bella Bridesmaid to check out this bridesmaid dress I found online!!

Wednesday I have my planning session with Gabrella Manor to talk about everything for the wedding. Im not really sure how this is gonna go because I still feel like there are so many things to do before this comes but oh well it will be fun!
Oh and then Corey Smith thursday night in tuscaloosa and a wedding on saturday!!!
